A Little Bit About Vance R. Redmond

With over fifteen years practicing family law, I have been recognized by both peers and the judiciary for high competence and professionalism. My practice involves helping clients resolve difficult legal problems related to custody and divorce in a cost-effective and efficient manner. Litigation is expensive, so I always examine whether an issue can resolved by agreement, but achieving the best results for my clients often requires litigation regarding access issues, alimony, child custody, child support, division of a business and/or real estate or enforcement of an existing agreement.

When children are involved, I understand the importance of maintaining a child's parental relationships in spite of divorce and I have been appointed many times by judges to represent children during high-conflict litigation between their parents. I am certified by the State of Maryland as a "child counsel."

I also have considerable experience in general civil litigation and real estate related matters including litigation related to purchase/sale agreements, condominium compliance, and trustee sales.
